In this episode of Louisiana NOW, we visit with Rev. Dr. Vicki Johnson who will be leading “The Art of Well Being,” a small group cohort that’s designed to help any leader who looks at their life as ministry.
This autumn’s cohort begins September 23rd and reoccurs every other Thursday through December 2nd.

I recently talked with Rev. Todd Rossnagel, Director of Communication Strategies for the Louisiana Annual Conference and host of the Louisiana NOW Podcast, to talk about the new, upcoming fall cohorts for The Art of Wellbeing.

Listen in to our conversation to hear answers to vital questions, like:

  • Who is ideal for participating in The Art of WellBeing cohort?

  • What does it really mean to have life balance? What does it mean to learn to be fully present and only do one thing at a time?

  • When we take a vacation, why is it so hard to do nothing?

  • What are some of the practices we may already being doing or have thought about doing that can become restorative practices for us?

  • What is the difference between the word “wellness” and the word “wellbeing”? Why use “wellbeing”?

  • What is the way forward in the midst of anxious and uncertain times?

  • How do we live and how do we lead?

  • How is group coaching helpful in finding a way forward?

  • How does stepping back in conversation with others help shift our perspective?

  • What can we learn through grief and trauma?

  • How can I sign up for one of the upcoming group coaching cohorts?

  • What are the leadership and wellbeing practices to which Vicki has recently recommitted?
